Hear melancholic techno from Tommy Sunsets (I'm not crying, you're crying!)

I want to bring to your attention the exceptional talent that is Tommy Sunsets, a producer and DJ from Hertfordshire. Last night on BBC Radio 1, on my show BBC Introducing Dance I made Tommy Sunsets’ remix of ‘Look After You’ by Aron Wright a Dancefloor Moment and here’s why…

The original track from singer and songwriter Aron Wright is a beautiful piece of music, completed by soft piano chords and heart-wrenching vocals. Tommy Sunsets, who I spoke to on IG Live last night, said that he first heard this track on a Lloyds tsb advert and fell in love with it, so he messaged Aron, and with his blessing, started working on an edit.

The Tommy Sunsets rework elongates the track into a deep, emotive techno tear-jerker. The added kick drum and repeated chopped vocals builds the track into a beautiful, emotional rollercoaster, which is fitting for those after-party hours when you find yourself listening to this at 8am curled up on a bean-bag with mates at a random’s house. Or is that just me?

You will absolute fall in love with this. Listen to Aron Wright - Look After You (Tommy Sunsets edit) below.
